Education Built Upon The Lasting Principles Of The Word Of God

Helping kindergarten-aged students develop academically and socially in a Christian-centered learning environment

Integrating Bible truths across all kindergarten subjects and grades

At Cornerstone Christian Academy, our Kindergarten students enjoy a well-rounded educational curriculum interwoven with the teachings of our Lord.

With a structured academic program based on the Bible-based Abeka curriculum, Cornerstone incorporates a versatile mix of subjects, including phonics, math, the Bible, art, science, social studies, and more.

Comprehensive Curriculum

Helping students develop their faith and relationship with God

Teaching new subjects from a Christian perspective

Early education focusing on phonics, math, bible study, science & more

Through the study of phonics, kindergarten students at Cornerstone learn to recognize letter names, vowel sounds, consonant letter blends, words with unique sounds, and other phonetic skills.

Kindergartners will begin to build a strong foundation with math as they learn counting, addition and subtraction, number sequences, the value of money, time, calendar use, and much more.

K5 students will also begin to expand their knowledge of science and the world around them by studying plants, animals, health, and human biology, in addition to social studies and art.

Continuing to develop their faith and relationship with God, students will take part in daily Bible study focusing on salvation, Genesis, and the life of Christ. Kindergarteners will also have a daily, structured PE class and other weekly electives such as foreign language, music, and computer skills.

We love Cornerstone Christian Academy. Our son has developed so much this past year in pre-k (Mrs. Nona) we know he will excel in kindergarten. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Our son loves the summer camp program as well and can't wait for it to start.

We love Cornerstone. We have Ms. Fitzgerald who is very involved teacher who pushes the student to be active and think on their own. Our daughter attended Cornerstone since kindergarten so we have great experience with all teachers.

This school is ALL Academics. Children sit classroom style and they learn their letters, blends of words, writing, languages, etc. My son started their 4k program at 4 years old and after a few short weeks, he can fully write his name on his own and knows the sounds of letter and vowel blends.

Do you think Cornerstone’s K5 program is right for your child? We’d love to hear from you.
